Dedicating 8 years to photographing the “Bosozoku” Japanese bike gangs and known for his “Goth-Loli” photographs of Gothic and Lolita teenagers, Masayuki Yoshinaga has become known internationally, with exhibitions in both New York and London, as well as across Japan.
Exhibited here are images from his photography book “I’m Sorry” which was published in 2000, and documents the people involved in the less respected manual labor jobs or “mizu-shobai” nighttime entertainment business in the Juso area of Osaka.
