20th Kitahama Black and White Photography Club Exhibition: Sakura
Gallery Solaris
This event has ended.
Our culture and climate are cultivated by seasonal changes in the environment and our memories are full of the brilliance of the four seasons. However, perhaps due to the effects of global warming the summers are slightly longer, and spring and autumn feel slightly shorter as a result. If this continues, we could gradually start to lose our sense of the seasons, and experience a further significant sense of loss as a result. Members of the Kitahama Black and White Photography Club present monochrome photographs of the sakura cherry blossom, from fallen flower petals to the winter sakura that waits for spring, as a way of preserving our sense of the seasons.
