This event has ended.

Saburo Ota produces works featuring the relationship between “time” and “place”, pursuing various expressions by using stamps and postmarks. In this exhibition, “Letter rack” expresses the happiness of receiving letters and “Mountain” is a bundle of 67,500 pieces of used stamps (approximately 33,750 yen) that allows us to think about the true price of works. ”Bird net” is made up of used stamps designed with various birds, plants, insects or animals entwined around an insect screen. Saburo Ota has produced this work based on the concept “the world is connected,” and celebrates the season of spring with this exhibition.
