This event has ended.
The word “Camino” in the title of this exhibition not only stands for “road” in Spanish, but also signifies, as in Japanese word “Kamino”, the “holiness” of the sacred place of Kumano. This exhibition introduces the modern role that Kumano’s nature and religion have played in the creation of art through the works of young artists from Mie Prefecture who are intrigued by the characteristics of Kumano.
