This event has ended.

Tomoko Inagaki continues to explore the basic human emotions fear and dread, this time in installations with Showa era-inspired Japanese dolls and French dolls made with Japanese washi paper. Of course dolls do not experience fear, but they can elicit a kind of sympathy as their human forms suggest they have thoughts and feelings. If we attune our ears to their “fear,” we may hear all kinds of voices.
