A member of Kansai’s renowned Gutai Art Association, Takesada Matsutani’s signature style combines black pencil drawings and glue. This comprehensive exhibition in his home town, Nishinomiya City, will trace Matsutani’s artistic career including his early works from the Gutai period to his latest monochrome installation works, covering his artistic endeavours in both Nishinomiya and Paris.
