This is the 4th exhibition of the series “Rediscovery of 20th Century Japanese Art”, following the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s, which tries to grasp various aspects of Japanese Arts including both the so-called high arts and the applied arts, limited to each decade of the 20th century.
This exhibition consists of the following parts:

2. Art under occupation of Japan
3. Inquiry into the humanity
4-1. Modernism/Tradition
4-2. Handwork in 1940s
5. Introduction of 1950s
