This exhibition of work by Wolfgang Tillmans (born in Germany in 1968), who has proven to be extremely influential as a forerunner in contemporary photographic expression since the 1990s, marks the artist’s first solo show at a Japanese museum in eleven years. The installations, which will include numerous photographs and videos that have never been shown in Japan before, promise to capture the true essence of our society.
