Ju Nagano “Rock Steady” & “Time is Monkey”

The third installment of a three-part exhibition by the Kyoto-based artist and photographer Ju Nagano is divided into two floors: The first presents “Rock Steady,” which unites Nagano’s interests in religion and megalithic culture. Photographs of boulders, a Last Supper arrangement, and a work featuring a woman disrobing her kimono are displayed. “Time is Monkey” on the second floor combines music and the three secrets to wisdom of the Three Wise Monkeys through the concept of time. Displayed are both new pieces and those from the previous two shows, including monkey origami, photographs, works unraveling the mysteries of time, and an installation of music and melody.
