Itami City Museum of Art presents a collection of work by 19th Century French painter Honore Daumier (1808-1879), well-known for his caricatures.
Influencing the likes of Degas and Toulouse-lautrec, Daumier’s unique outlook and sharp humor allowed him to captures everyday society as though they were scenes from a play or snap photography. In this exhibition we view the work of Honore Daumier through the eyes of manga artist Shiriagari Kotobuki.
