The ninth 1 Floor, an open-call exhibition to support your artists, presents the work of Yohei Kumano, whose highlights the tensions and murky boundaries of preexisting rules and uniform standards in his interactive game installations, and Taisuke Toda, whose sculptures piece together fragments of small daily events to evoke unconscious experiences and memories. The show’s title, “By Some Amazing Coincidence,” refers to the relationship between worlds observed the works of both artists. Please enjoy these pieces created through processes of trial and error by two artists meeting each other for the first time.
