Four artists who have studied or worked internationally present works on the theme of travel. This year marks nearly a half century of a government-sponsored program supporting the studies of promising young Japanese artists at overseas universities and institutions. It is also the 19th anniversary of Domani Tomorrow, which in addition to a large-scale show at the National Art Center, Tokyo, now includes smaller theme-based exhibitions as part of the experimental Domani Tomorrow Plus program launched two years ago. The Kyoto Art Center presents the first such exhibition to take place outside of Tokyo.
