Every autumn, Paris stages Nuit Blanche (“White Night”), a one-night festival celebrating contemporary art. Kyoto, a sister city of Paris, holds the companion event“ Nuit Blanche Kyoto” in various locations around the city. Kyoto’s night is lighted up by a varied program including free dance and circus performances, exhibitions, and outdoor projection mapping. The theme for the seventh edition of the festival is “Landscape, the city in movement” and presents a selection of new trends and experimentations.

From choreographer Mylène Benoit, comes a work of figurative dance which was born out of research into phosphorescence.

Original music is performed reconstructed using various methods, like a cut up collage, a mashup of songs.
