Manga artist Kotobuki Shiriagari is celebrated for his surreal gag-based manga, but is also active in the fields of writing, theatre, music and video games. Through his international exhibitions of moving image and sumi ink installation works, he has received global recognition.
What is a turn? In his first full-scale exhibition at a gallery, Shiriagari explores various expressions using the techniques of gags and the serious, nonsense and philosophy, subculture and art.
